Hi there, I’m Katie. I’m a mother and a midwife from Cork, with a special interest in breastfeeding support. As a midwife, I thought that I had a good level of knowledge about pregnancy, birth, postpartum and breastfeeding. However, after having my first baby, I realised how little I really knew!

This experience of becoming a mother for the first time has spurred me on to provide better preparation and support for women in the run up to becoming mothers themselves. Thus, The Mammy Hub was born!

My vision with The Mammy Hub is to create a space for women and mothers where they can find support, information, friendship and kinship. Creating the village that is missing from this modern society we live in!

At The Mammy Hub, women’s health is at the forefront, offering services to women and families who are pregnant, trying to conceive, newly postnatal and ongoing through motherhood.

Breastfeeding support is an integral part of the service I provide, as I believe every baby deserves the best start in life and all mothers deserve support to achieve their goals.
